Eve and Morn are proposed as short, specific names for a calendar day that does not start at midnight but at the brink of daylight. Eve starts the evening before, either at a specific clock time like 18:00 or at dusk, sunset or nightfall. Morn (or Morrow) starts the morning after midnight, either at a specific clock time like 06:00 or at dawn or sunrise.
