The Week & Month Calendar designed by Karl Palmen in 2018 is a variant of the Symmetry454 Calendar with ISO week date rules in force and no day of month number. It uses the traditional month names unaltered but instead of a day of month number, has a week of the month name, which is provided as either a Roman or Greek letter (name), i.e. A through E or Alpha through Epsilon. While the natural order of date elements in English is kept with the smallest one first, e.g. Saturday Epsilon November 2018, numerical dates may use ISO-like conventions, e.g. 2018-11-5-6.

Month layout
Week 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun
Alpha 01 02 03 04 05 06 07
Beta 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
Gamma 15 16 17 18 19 20 21
Delta 22 23 24 25 26 27 28
Epsilon 29 30 31 32 33 34 35

The day of month numbers would normally be omitted from the layout and do not form part of any calendar date. The Epsilon week only occurs in 5-week month.

The months of February, May, August and November have 5 weeks every year along with December in a year with 53 ISO weeks. The other months have 4 weeks. Week Alpha January coincides with ISO week 1.
